Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is a country in Western Asia, located on the Arabian Peninsula, with Riyadh as its capital. Major cities include Jeddah, Mecca, and Medina. The country shares borders with Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Yemen. Vast deserts dominate the landscape, while vegetation is found mainly in oases. The climate is hot and dry, with temperatures ranging from 10 °C in the north during winter to as high as 50 °C in summer. The best time to visit is in winter, when temperatures are more moderate. In the west, the Hijaz Mountains rise, with Jabal Sawda as the highest peak.
