The international airport of Aeropuerto de Tenerife Norte is a Spanish airport, one of the two on the Canary Island, Tenerife. The airport is located in its northern part, about 10 km from the city centre of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The history of the port dates back to 1929. It received the official permission to make air connections in May 1946, and until the 1970s, he was called Los Rodeos. The airport is the main communication hub for traffic between the islands of the archipelago, it also supports traffic from outside the islands. In 2002, its four-storey new terminal was opened. Domestic and international calls from the airport offer ten regular, low cost and charter airlines, each year generating passenger traffic of over 3.8 million. The nearest hotel base is located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Lotnisko na najwyższym poziomie usług. pracownicy uprzejmi, wyrażający chęć pomocy. Jedynym mankamentem jest niezbyt dobrze oznakowanie do odlotów międzynarodowych

odprawa - wylot
Podczas odprawy (IBERIA) spotkaliśmy się z następującą sytuacją: mimo wykupionej opcji bagażu rejestrowanego dla dwóch osób po 23 kg i odprawy tylko 1 szt. bagażu o wadze 26 kg niemiła urzędniczka zakwalifikowała to jako nadbagaż i opłata 60 EUR. Pierwszy raz spotykam się z taką sytuacją. Pozostałe oceny 5-6. Świetne rozwiązanie podczas przylotu z odbiorem samochodu - okienka od strony hali bagażowej znacznie przyspieszają opuszczenie lotniska.

Teneryfa
Dla mnie Teneryfa Północna (Tenerife Norte)była idealna, bo leciałam do Santa Cruz, ale jeśli ktoś wybiera się na południe wyspy (Los Cristianos, Americas, Adeje i in.),to zdecydowanie niech wybierze lotnisko Teneryfa Południowa (Tenerife Sur),czyli większe, międzynarodowe, bliżej kurortów.

godziny otwarcia
Zaskoczyło nas, że lotnisko otwarte jest od 6 rano. Mając samolot o 7 stawiliśmy się na lotnisku o 5.30 i koczowaliśmy pół godziny, ale to częściowo nasza wina, gdyż informacje o godzinach otwarcia były podane.Na lotnisko bardzo łatwo dojechać, miejsc na parkingu nie brakuje.

A taxi rank is in front of the terminal. The daily tariff is valid from 6: 00 to 22: 00, where the rate is 0.55 EUR / 1 km, and in the night tariff from 22:00 to 6: 00 it is 0.63 EUR / 1 km.
The airport is accessible via the TF-5 motorway, which connects Santa Cruz de Tenerife with Puerto de la Cruz. From the motorway, take exit number 11. A 3-km long dual carriageway leads to the port itself. Coordinates for GPS car navigation systems:
