Malaysia
Malaysia, in South-East Asia, covers the Malay Peninsula and the northern part of Borneo. It borders Thailand, Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia. The capital, Kuala Lumpur, is a dynamic city of 8.4 million inhabitants. Malaysia has an equatorial climate, with monsoons from April to October and from October to February. Borneo is home to Kinabalu, the country's highest peak at 4,101 m above sea level. The best time to visit is between March and October, when rainfall is less intense.
